Federation Market Day, Groper Creek -7 July 2001.A large crowd converged on the small settlement of Groper Creek for our second Market Day, this year with a "Federation" theme. There were over 50 stalls - from as far afield as the Gold Coast - and entertainment for young and old. "Edmund Barton" arrived by boat to read the proclamation by Queen Victoria. Our proceeds are directed to rebuilding our fire-damaged property at Home Hill.
